Winter Green Farm is hiring for the following positions:

Farm Crew
Duties include: Harvesting, processing and packing produce for our Community Supported Agriculture members and Farmers Markets. You will also be planting and weeding crops. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and work long days under the hot sun, and still smile. Benefits include being outside in the fresh air, working with an amazing crew, and access to fresh, organic produce.

Farmers' Market Vendors
Duties include: Driving to Portland on Saturdays for Farmers' Market. You will be responsible for loading the truck at the farm early in the morning, and driving up to the Portland Market, helping to set up the market stand, vending, keeping the stand looking good, breaking down the booth, returning the farm and unloading the truck. Hours will range from 20-25 hrs a week, May through November, and cut back to just 10-15 hrs a week in December.

Qualified candidate must have experience driving a 12-16 ft box truck in urban and highway settings, and have a valid drivers license with a clean record. This position requires the ability to work long days,with a friendly, out going attitude. Delivery Driver/Eugene
Duties include: Delivering weekly CSA Shares to Eugene/Springfield on Tuesday & Friday. Candidate will be required to have a friendly, out going attitude, and be able to lift up to 40lbs. You must have experience driving a 12-16 ft box truck in urban or highway settings and have a valid drivers license with a clean record.

Farm Office/CSA Manager
This position encompasses all aspects of managing the Farm Office and interacting with CSA members. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE is an energetic people person with a cheery outlook and strong attention to detail. He or she should thrive on customer interaction, and have the capability and willingness to develop a strong knowledge of the farm, our growing practices and products. We ask for a two year committment for this position.

CSA COORDINATOR - (Marketing, Communication, Coordination, Accounting)
As the CSA Coordinator a strong candidate would assist customers in navigating their account, our website and our produce. The CSA Coordinator is the first point of contact for most of our customers and we strive to provide an excellent customer service experience. We have a passion for the organic lifestyle and hope to share it with our customers. Duties would include:

As the CSA Coordinator you would be responsible for:
• Developing the delivery schedule, interacting with the CSA delivery site hosts and coordination with the farm harvest, packing and delivery crew.
• Writing the weekly Blog to inform CSA members of what will be included in the weekly share, as well as news of farm happenings.
• Solving any issues that may arise with delivery schedules
• Solving any issues that may arise with Site hosts
• Organizing Open House and end of season Harvest Celebration events

As the CSA Coordinator you would be responsible for Marketing the CSA program to potential members. This would include:
• Creating marketing materials such as flyers, brochure, advertisements for newsletters and publications. Graphic design skills are beneficial.
• Researching new outlets to offer information about our CSA program.
• Setting up presentations to introduce our CSA information.
• Distributing marketing materials - putting up and passing out flyers and brochures before the start of the season in June
• Maintaining and updating the CSA information on the farm website, as well as the other websites where we list our info
• Maintaining our Facebook and Instagram accounts, posting on a regular basis.
• Creating and distributing the seasonal mailings to CSA membership.

OFFICE MANAGER
As Office Manager you will be an integral part of the farm. You will work closely with the Farm owners and be a liaison to the farm crew.
Duties will include
• Answers all incoming telephone calls and transfers to appropriate parties in a professional and courteous manner.
• Performs assigned tasks and duties necessary to support the office, which may include processing credit card transactions, reconciling data and reports, billing, and other similar
activities.
• Performs general clerical duties to include typing, copying, collating, and mailing documents using Microsoft Office applications and/or other office equipment and machines.
• Uses applicable software programs to create letters, and other business-related documents
• Maintains hard-copy and electronic filing systems in accordance with company standards.
• Provides administrative support to farm managers and other leadership team members.
• Greets walk in guests with a positive attitude and helpful manner and may assist with product purchases and payments
• Physically fit and able to work in all weather conditions.
• Strong leadership abilities.
• Some office machine maintenance skills are a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Orders all company office supplies
• Responding to all customer contacts within specified time frames in an efficient and accurate manner.
• Providing excellent customer service adhering to the standards established, with the quality expected for every customer or non-customer contact.
• Ability to get along and work effectively with others.
• Regular, predictable attendance is required.
• Strong communication skills
